These Terms of Service govern your use of slatecove.co and purchases made from Slatecove. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked on the site.

Store platform

Slatecove’s online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer products and services.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have permission from a parent or guardian to use this site. You may not use the site or products for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes, interfere with site security, introduce malicious code, or violate another person’s rights.

Product information

Slatecove works to keep product descriptions, photographs, prices, availability, and shipping information accurate. Screen settings and production variations may affect how a product appears. If a material listing error is discovered, Slatecove may correct it, cancel the affected order, or contact the customer with available options.

Orders and payment

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. Slatecove may accept, decline, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including inventory, pricing errors, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions, or an inability to fulfill. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Payment information is processed by Shopify and available payment providers.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping estimates are not guarantees. The Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy form part of these terms and control those subjects.

Product use

Use products only as directed and follow the instructions for any cleaning products used with them. Patch-test delicate surfaces, keep electrical components and charging ports from being submerged, and never mix incompatible cleaning chemicals. You are responsible for choosing appropriate products, attachments, cleaners, and techniques for the surface being cleaned.

Third-party services and links

The site may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, analytics providers, and social platforms. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Slatecove is not responsible for third-party sites that it does not control.

Intellectual property

Site content created for Slatecove—including branding, original copy, layouts, and original creative assets—may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and products are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in the listing or required by law. Slatecove is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or product where such limitations are permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

Slatecove may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. The version in effect when an order is placed applies to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise.
